How I Can Help
As your Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors (CPSC) registered pastoral counsellor, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you, as a teenager, or parents, your teenager can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. My approach integrates evidence-based counseling, where I help teenagers develop healthy coping mechanisms while building resilience for future challenges. As a Narrative Therapy trained counsellor, I travel alongside both religious and non-religious teenagers towards better and more productive lives.
Together, we work on identity formation, helping young people understand their unique strengths, values, and purpose and I provide tools for managing overwhelming emotions and developing emotional intelligence that serves them throughout life.
Communication skills training helps teenagers navigate relationships with family, friends, and romantic interests more effectively. We address destructive thought patterns and behaviors, replacing them with healthier alternatives that promote growth and wellbeing.
My pastoral background allows me to also explore questions of faith, meaning, and purpose that often emerge during adolescence, while respecting diverse spiritual perspectives and beliefs, I work collaboratively with families when appropriate, helping improve family communication and understanding.
Moving Forward Together
Every teenager's journey is unique, and my counseling approach is tailored to meet individual needs and circumstances. Whether facing immediate crisis situations or seeking support for ongoing challenges, I'm committed to walking alongside young people as they discover their potential and develop the tools needed for a fulfilling life.
Taking the first step toward counseling demonstrates courage and self-awareness. I'm here to provide professional, confidential support that honors both the developmental needs of adolescence and the spiritual dimension of human experience.
